Product details for the person approving the event

A corporate escape room event built for organizers

A company activity is easier to approve when the organizer can state the format, capacity, time, cost, technology, and host responsibilities in plain language. EscapeGroups is planned as a ready-to-run browser event with small-team competition and one host overview.

Approval summary

A complete activity with a defined beginning and end

The organizer chooses one room and event tier, shares one invitation, forms smaller teams, and starts a simultaneous competition. Teams solve for roughly 35–45 minutes inside a one-hour event block. The planned host view shows joining, progress, completion, and final standings.

  • No travel, headset, or app installation planned
  • One event price instead of per-person billing
  • No facilitator script or answer checking
  • Use the company’s existing video platform for remote voice

Groups and tiers

Match the tier to headcount, then divide into small teams

Private Event is planned for up to eight participants, Team Event for up to 30, and Company Event for up to 100. Larger groups do not solve as one oversized team; they are split into groups of roughly four to six and receive the same room and starting conditions.

Setup requirements

Provide browsers, a voice channel, and one accountable organizer

Participants need access to a supported browser. Remote teams also need a voice or video room; EscapeGroups will not include conferencing. In-person teams can use shared laptops or tablets. The organizer manages the calendar invitation and team communication while the product manages the room and results.

Self-serve by design

Run the event internally without pretending it is facilitated

The launch plan is a guided self-serve event, not a hosted entertainment service. There is no live emcee or dedicated facilitator included. That keeps scheduling and cost straightforward, but organizations that require a live host should choose a facilitated provider instead.

Company use cases

Use the format across different moments in the company calendar

A department competition can create friendly cross-team energy. An offsite can use the room between strategy sessions. Sales kickoffs and onboarding cohorts can use it as a shared problem-solving break. Employee-appreciation events can offer a structured activity without asking employees to prepare content.

  • Department and cross-functional competitions
  • Remote or hybrid offsites
  • Sales kickoffs and onboarding cohorts
  • Employee-appreciation and seasonal gatherings

Procurement clarity

Know the initial product boundaries before approval

The prelaunch plan does not promise SSO, custom branding, white labeling, custom rooms, purchase orders, invoicing, data-processing addenda, or a dedicated facilitator. Planned purchases are simple one-time event tiers. Final payment, refund, access-window, compatibility, and security details will be published before checkout opens.

Practical answers

Questions organizers ask before choosing a room

What does a corporate escape-room event cost?

Planned one-time prices are $29 for up to eight participants, $59 for up to 30, and $99 for up to 100. Payment is not available during prelaunch.

How long should we schedule?

Reserve 45–60 minutes. A full hour leaves time for joining, instructions, roughly 35–45 minutes of play, and final standings.

Can departments compete against one another?

Yes. Multiple teams solving the same room simultaneously is a core part of the planned company-event format.

Can the event run remotely and in person?

Yes. The same browser event is planned for remote, hybrid, and in-person groups. Remote teams provide their own voice or video channel.

Is a live facilitator included?

No. EscapeGroups is planned as a self-serve product. Organizations that need a live host should choose a facilitated provider.

What does the organizer prepare?

Choose the tier and room, reserve the calendar block, share the invitation, provide remote voice rooms if needed, confirm teams, and start the event.

Are enterprise procurement features available?

No enterprise procurement, SSO, custom branding, white labeling, purchase-order, or invoicing workflow is promised for launch.
